That's me.
That girl was going to fall off a the bed.
I mewowed my "serious emergency" mewow. (I usually use this when I am stuck in that horrible box going to that horrible vet.)
Mama thought I was maybe stuck in a box and going to the vet and she didn't know.
So she came in.
And saw that girl.
And moved her.
And said I was a VERY good boy.
She said I was a hero.
My name is LMK and I am a hero kitty. I am Little Man HERO kitty.

Monday Holiday
Today is a Monday Holiday. Mama's school has off. That Girl's school has on.
So mama is home with me, which is the way life should be. I used to hate Monday holidays because Mama would clean stuff and mess up everything I'd worked hard on. But now I like them. Because a mama with a vacuum cleaner is still a mama.
LMK
PS: last night That Girl accused me of knocking over stuff. As if!

That Girl
is not very nice to me. She has more toys than me. She sits in MY mama's lap. She tells me "no, no, no" when I get on the kitchen table, and then doesn't listen when I tell her "no, no, no." She chases me. This is NOT GOOD.
Mama says you have to look at the bright side. Here's the bright side:
1) She is warm. I like sleeping in her bed, but if she wakes up and sees me, she cries.
2) She can feed me. This is a good thing.
3) No matter what, I'm OLDER. I became 3 in June and she had to wait until October to be 3. I'm older. I'll always be older. I'll be 4 before her. HA!

Babies are noisy
They are.
I don't really like that.
But the good thing is this: when they sleep, they don't take up much space, so I jump up and watch the baby sleep from the end of the bed. Together, we share a bed quite nicely.
I'm not naming names, but somebody else takes up a LOT more room.

I got a job
So, I'm such a big boy that now I have a job. A big boy job.
I'm a baby watcher.
Mama brought home a baby. Well, not really a baby, but kind of a baby.
And when she sleeps, it's my job to watch.
I'm very good at it.
Sometimes she feeds me.
Sometimes she chases me.
Sometimes she plays with me.
Sometimes she yells at me.
She's my baby, and it's my job to watch her sleep.

100 posts!
One hundred posts! That's a lot of thoughts!
I have a lot of thoughts!
I'm LMK, big cat in town.
So, things continue to get worse at the LMK household. There is stuff EVERYWHERE. There is stuff in the bathtub. There is stuff on my extra bed. There are bags of stuff every, every, everywhere. Does she even realize how much extra work it is for me to keep up with all this stuff? I have to rub ALL of it. I have to smell ALL of it. This stuff doesn't just happen on it's own!!!
Human mama says we're adopting a little one.
I'm adopted, so I know what that's like. I hope the new kid is black and white with 6 toes on each front paw. I'll TOTALLY show him all around the house and give him kisses and smack him on the head once in a while. We'll TOTALLY play together all day.
So, we're adopting.
That still doesn't explain all this stuff.

Getting worried
There is a LOT of stuff in my house but it is not mine. My old room has the door shut because girlkitty peed on the rugs. I am worried. I can't get in the room with all the stuff. It's my job to keep all that stuff smelling right and I can't get in there.
Mama is busy. She keeps moving all our stuff around. Sharp stuff, poison stuff, messy stuff goes up high. Boring stuff goes down low. She is always bringing bags of MORE stuff into the part of the ment. She's also busy bringing stuff OUT of the part of the ment. She says we have to make room. FOR WHAT????
Yesterday, she took out a big suitcase and measured it.
I was NOT happy.
But she put it away.
Phew!

Today
I am three!
That's really big.
Lots of strange stuff going on in my house.
I have to be constantly vigilant.
There is a new chair. I did not order it.
Mama moved out one of my jumping stools.
And girlkitty peed on the floor because mama blocked the door to her favorite litter box by accident. P-U.
I use both of the litter boxes. I pee freely. Girlkitty only likes the white one.
But that's all beside the point that I'm THREE! I am, you know, a very big boy.
I'd like to offer up my healing prayers for Dubby, my friend with extra toes who got bitted on the head by his brother and got a hair cut and a medicine. Hope you feel better Dubby. God, please be good to him, okay? And God, if you could, bop his brother on the head a little bit, okay?
That's all I have to say. This is my 98th post.
And I"m three.

Heard Mama on the Phone
Grandparents are coming.
They are sleeping in MY bed.
They are known to dispense treats freely.
Must take both bad and good together, I guess.
Maybe they will buy me a pony.

Paint
Mama is painting stuff.
Have you ever had painting.
Here's what it's like (just in case you haven't).
Mama puts newspaper on the ground, but you're not supposed to play in it.
Then she gets out milk but you're not supposed to drink it.
Then she plays a game with a stick but you're not supposed to play with it.
And it spells funny.
And if you keep trying to get close, sometimes you get milk on your fur.
And it's blue.
Like on your ear.
Then mama scrubs your ear to get rid of the paint.
I'm not so sure about painting anymore.

Prrr
Mama says that I seem a little punky.
I'm not sick though (barfing up that catfood with pink candy in it was a coincidence and doesn't mean that I shouldn't eat conversational hearts), I'm just being contemplative cat.
Today I'm thinking about my toes.
Why do my toes have claws?
Why am I in trouble when I sharpen my claws?
Why does mama love my pitsypaws but not when I sharpen them?
Why does she call them pitsypaws?
Is that baby talk?
I'm a big boy.
I'm thinking.
About my toes.

Conversation Hearts

My human mama bought a bag of conversation hearts yesterday. I think it's funny that humans need candy to talk. So last night, while she was sleeping (why do humans sleep for such a long time in a row, anyway), I tried some. I tried a lot. I took a few nibbles on each one. Then I spread them out on the floor, so human mama could see what I did. And I put one in her bed. It was there when she woke up. It was very funny because first she thought SHE ate a candy in the middle of the night, and she was all confused. Then she got out of bed and saw the others. She said the little nibbles look like the nibbles on all her shoes that I've decorated for her (do you decorate shoes, too? I like doing it. I make really good designs on the toes.) Then she gathered them all up and threw them out, which is just STOOOOOOOPID because I got them all ready for her.
Humans are so hard to understand.
PS: My favorite heart said, "you rule." How did they know that I'd be the one to get it?

water machine
Since it's winter, mama put out the water machine.
You pour water in the top, and you it spits out wet air.
I sit in front of it with my mouth open.
Mama says I look like a fool.
That's a cuz she wishes she could do it.

Trouble in LMK City
Well, today we have trouble.
We've had it for a while.
Mama is cleaning.
I don't like cleaning.
But here's the worst part: she's moving things around.
Without asking first.
This is not nice.
She had 2 other humans come over and move a bookcase.
To a place where I liked to sleep.
This is not good.
I need help.
Won't someone come and help me defend my house? Or my part of a ment, I mean?
I don't like this. at. all.

My Baby
Do you have a birdy game at your house? It's my favorite game. Mama holds a stick and a birdy flies around.
I love it.
Rabbi's Daughter is very good at birdy game, too.
Well, sometimes I get the birdy and run.
And when I was a little kitty, I ripped the birdy off the end of one game.
And hid it.
Someplace secret.
And hard to find.
Well, last week I took it out again.
It's my baby (NOT A DOLL. DOLLS ARE FOR GIRLS!)
I carry it everywhere.
We have snuggles.
Sometimes I put it down for a nap.
When mama finds it she thinks I'm crazy.
It took a nap in the dry food bowl, mama's bed, the bathtub, the sofa cushions and girlkitty's favorite sleeping spot.
It even went swimming in the water bowl.
I love my baby.

Happy Laps
Sometimes when Mama comes home, I do a victory lap.
I run from the hallway then jump over the couch and then run in the dining room and then the kitchen and then back to the hallway and jump over the couch and then run into the dining room and then the kitchen and then back to the hallwayandjumpoverthecouchandthenrunintothediningroomandthenthekitchenandthenbacktothehallway..........
I don't do it every time. Just sometimes. I don't want her to expect it.
It's a surprise.
I'm good at surprises.
